I’m a Mexican 2D animator, director, story artist, and visual designer based in Puebla. My approach is shaped by a background in music and visual storytelling, which taught me to think carefully about rhythm, timing, atmosphere, and emotion.I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Animation and Digital Arts from Tecnológico de Monterrey and an MA in Film, specializing in Animation, from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. During my master’s studies, I wrote and directed Huitzilin, coordinating its development with an international team of 21 collaborators.

My work spans character animation, storyboarding, visual development, graphic design, composition, and creative production. I’m particularly interested in expressive character acting and in the relationship between sound, movement, and image.

Writer, Director & 2D Animator

2023–2026

Led the development and production of a 7:15-minute 2D animated short with an international team of 21 collaborators. I wrote and directed the film, created its storyboard and animatic, designed its characters, and planned its production workflow. I also contributed directly to animation, layout, backgrounds, clean-up, color, compositing, editing, and music. The completed film has an ISAN registration and is currently entering the international festival circuit.

2020–2022

Created animation, visual design, color, and edited sequences for commissioned music videos. The projects included Domingo Híbrido (2020), De Caracas a Madrid (2021), and Así se Siente el Paraíso (2022), strengthening my ability to translate music into visual rhythm, adapt to different artistic directions, and collaborate with independent musicians and artists.

Visual Identity Designer

Benzaiten — Music Management & Live Shows Studio

Developed the visual identity and logo for a Puebla-based music management and live-show studio. Working from the founder’s ideas and requirements, I translated concepts of performance, music, energy, and cultural fusion into a recognizable identity and a series of promotional applications.
