A filmmaker’s eye, an animator’s craft.
I’m a Mexican 2D animator, director, and story artist based in Puebla. My approach to animation is shaped by a background in both music and visual storytelling, which has taught me to think carefully about rhythm, timing, atmosphere, and emotion. I began my academic path in Music Production Engineering before transferring into Animation and Digital Art, with my previous coursework credited toward the degree. I earned my bachelor’s degree at Tecnológico de Monterrey and later completed a Master’s degree in Film with a specialization in Animation at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland. My work spans character animation, storyboard, visual development, composition, and creative production. During my master’s studies, I wrote and directed Huitzilin, a 2D animated short developed with an international team of 21 collaborators. The project strengthened my experience in guiding a film from its initial concept and storyboard through production and final delivery. I’m particularly interested in expressive character acting and in the relationship between sound, movement, and image. I aim to create stories that feel personal, visually engaging, and emotionally honest.
